Gondorff’s behaves deliberately rude and does not fit at the table of “gentlemen”. In the end, Gondorff wins, because he knows to cheat better than the banker. This clip is more about the skills of the protagonist and antagonist of the movie. Like in the game Gondorff bluffs and cheats better, as he also bluffs the banker later to get 500000 $ from him. A table with baize, smoking players, and one light only sheds light on the table. Mike is playing and loses 30000$. Afterwards he looks quite shocked. Discussion: The statement of the audience should be negative. Although not that very negative, as Mike is looking really shocked. Hence he is caring still about something and not only about gambling.
