After a while, his mobile phone rings. Because of his work he cannot really talk to her. After a while he leaves for his work. On the way to his car he meets Mason (Tracy’s brother) and wants to know “in a nutshell” what is wrong with Tracy. Mason just irritated leaves. Here Tracy’s father misses his obligation for his daughter, who needs him. Work is too important for him. The image of the father is negative, but probably not one of addiction. Clip: 311

A government official together with the train station personnel is trying to prevent the accident from happening. As a side plot, in one of the trains there is a evolving a love affair between a petty criminal and a lonely housewife. Scene: mixed adults other coffee The collision of the trains is only some minutes away, and the leader of the train station makes a suggestion for a coffee break. The governmental official opposes this furiously. The gesture underlines his opinion of the train station group as sloppy and lazy, which he has announced in the earlier scenes of the film.
