Abstract: In this article the focus is on migrant parents construction of everyday citizenship, that is membership of society, when there is a disabled child in the family. According to our results parents construct their everday citizenship in relation to personal resources, and in addition to public and private disability services. Accroding to parents' experiences there are exclusionary mechanisms especially in public services that hamper families everyday lives and parents' autonomous agency. This means that parents are often left unacknowledged as equal negotiators and their knowledge of their child are not recognized in meetins with professionals. Parents are usually seen as a caregiver of their child, which meansthat professionals do not offer them unemployment services. Parents sense of belonging is based on predicatability of everyday life, when parents have information about disability and treatment of the child and all necessary services are available to them. In addition, employment of the parents sooports their coping and belonging. According to our results, it is necessary to develop structures and ways of interactions between migrant parents and professionals.
