dc.description.abstract Et dieu… créa la femme (1956, F) by Roger Vadim Main Cast: Brigitte Bardot; Curd Jürgens; Company: Cocinor Juliette Hardy is a young orphan woman, who has the men of a French coastal town panting. But Antoine, the only man who affects her likewise, wouldn’t dream of settling down with a woman his friends consider the town tramp. While Antoine’s away, his younger brother michel, who worships Juliette proposes to her; out of liking rather than love, she accepts, and their marriage becomes happy. But Antoine returns and things get complicated. He enters a struggle of obligations and desires. Scene: mixed adults sex Juliette dances wildly to the rhythms of a Caribbean band in an openly sexual manner. Eric is in the room and cannot help but to stare at her. Michel enters the room too, and Juliette’s provocative act seems to arouse in him feelings of both: desire and disgust. Almost in an unconscious manner he takes his gun and pulls the trigger. Clip: 64D (Addictions 1) Notes: ME: 080521: This scene is more about desire and jealousy than addiction. en_US
