Abstract: The Bridges at Toko-Ri (1954) by Mark Robson Main Cast: William Holden and Grace Kelly Company: Paramount Pictures Set during the Korean War, a Navy fighter pilot Harry Brubaker must come to terms with his own ambivalence towards the war and the fear of having to bomb a set of highly defended bridges. The film praises patriotism, masculinity and moral fortitude, which all reach their culmination in the grim end of this war drama. Several scenes of this film are accompanied with alchol and cigarettes. Scene: tobacco male adults cigarettes nontransgressive Still in the hospital bathrobe, Harry is asked to the office of the admiral. When he gets there, the admiral offers him a cigarette.
