Dan Mahowny has a gambling problem. He works in a banc and uses the money from some accounts for his gambling. His girl friend tries to help him, but she does not succeed. In the end the police catch Mahowny.

As he seems not to enjoy the game – there is not any emotional reaction on his face – it is pretty clear that this scene will be considered as showing addiction. Nevertheless here M. seems to still have the competence to play.
