Abstract: The Sting (1973, USA) by George Roy Hill Main Cast: Robert Redford, Paul Newman Company: Universal Pictures Hooker and Gondorff are two gangsters in Chicago of the 1930s. They frame a corrupt banker to win a fortune. Scene: gambling male adults cards alcohol tobacco Transgressive in company 0:48:06-0:49:16+0:49:59-0:51:38+0:52:40-0:53:46+0:54:11-0:58:29: gambling In this scene the poker game between Gondorff and the banker is shown. Gondorff’s behaves deliberately rude and does not fit at the table of “gentlemen”. In the end, Gondorff wins, because he knows to cheat better than the banker. This clip is more about the skills of the protagonist and antagonist of the movie. Like in the game Gondorff bluffs and cheats better, as he also bluffs the banker later to get 500000 $ from him.
